Construction Cost Accountant
Responsabilités
Reporting to the Controller, the Construction Cost Accountant will support all accounting activities in the construction division, including invoicing, maintaining inventory records, costing, coordinating period end processes and management reporting. The Construction Cost Accountant will also provide support for contract administration and backup the Controller.
Exigences
- Education – post secondary accounting education – business diploma and/or working towards accounting designation
- Experience – minimum 3 years costing or accounting experience, preferably in a construction environment
- Computer – strong Excel skills and sound knowledge of ERP systems
- Initiative – takes initiative to complete tasks, meet goals and improve processes
- Interpersonal – strong communication skills and ability to gain cooperation from personnel at all levels
