King Shotcrete Equipment Inc. Appoints Technical Service Representative

King Shotcrete Equipment Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Noah Callantine to the position of Technical Service Representative, effective April 15, based in Allentown, PA. In this newly created position, Noah will be responsible for providing technical service support for a wide range of equipment brands and models of concrete and shotcrete machines, either in-house or by traveling to customer locations. He is highly skilled in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical powered machinery.

Noah comes from within the shotcrete and concrete pumping industry. He will be a valuable asset not only to the company, but also to the entire customer base. Noah has other skills that will allow him to perform in-service on all new equipment sales, as well as to teach customers how to use, maintain, and service equipment. He will also be an asset internally as KSE continues to develop new business in the U.S. market.

Minequip Appoints New Inside Sales Coordinator

The King Shotcrete Solutions group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Gervais to the position of Inside Sales Coordinator for Minequip, effective Monday, December 5, 2016. Ken brings with him over 25 years of experience in the mining sector, most recently working in various capacities at DSI Mining Canada. As Inside Sales Coordinator, Ken will be responsible for the administrative duties and assisting with customer inquiries for the Minequip group.

Appointment of General Manager, Minequip

King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig McDonald to the position of General Manager, Minequip. Craig began his career at King over 20 years ago as a mechanic for the Minequip division and has since taken on sales management roles for both our Construction Products group and Minequip (King Shotcrete Solutions) group.

Craig’s primary function will be to grow the Minequip division as set out in our Vision 2020 strategy. We will also continue to rely on his unmatched experience in the mining industry to compliment our shotcrete materials sales efforts in the Ontario mining market.

Appointment of Sales Manager, Canadian Markets for Construction Products Group

To help facilitate our plans for future growth, King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Reny to the position of Sales Manager, Canadian Markets for our Construction Products Group. After 6 years as Manager, Technical Services, Simon will now be responsible for the sales of our complete line of Construction Products throughout the Canadian mining and construction markets.

Simon began his career at King in 2004 as a Technical Sales Representative, after completing his degree in Civil Engineering at Laval University. As Manager, Technical Services, he helped build a strong technical team that has done a remarkable job of serving both our internal and external customers. As we continue to develop and launch new, more sophisticated product lines to differentiate ourselves from our competitors, this appointment will greatly benefit our Vision 2020 strategy.

Appointment of Sales Manager, US Markets for Construction Products Group

To help facilitate our future growth plans, King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Bridger to the position of Sales Manager, US Markets for the Construction Products Group. Patrick joins King with over 30 years of experience in the shotcrete industry. He will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of King Shotcrete materials and related equipment throughout the US.

Patrick began his career at Shotcrete Plus in San Antonio, TX, under the leadership and mentoring of George Yoggy. He then spent 10 years working as a refractory shotcrete contractor in Texas, where he gained valuable field experience. For the past 17 years, Patrick has worked continuously in the field of sales and sales management, most recently in a senior management position with Putzmeister America. Patrick has been an active member of the American Shotcrete Association since its inception and has served on several ASA committees. He is also a Past President of ASA.

Appointment of Vice President of Sales for Construction Products Group

To help facilitate our future growth plans, King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Rand to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales for the Construction Products Group.

In this position, Scott will continue to be responsible for all sales activities involving all Construction Products materials and equipment markets, and will also be responsible for the further development of our technical sales team, so that we will be better positioned to capitalize on future growth opportunities.

Scott began his career with King as a Technical Sales Representative 17 years ago and over the years, has taken on added sales and sales management responsibilities for the Construction Products Group. Scott has played a major role in the growth of our U.S. markets and has led the sales team that has grown the King Shotcrete brand to become the leading brand in the North American shotcrete industry. His involvement in major, award winning projects such as the construction of New York’s East Side Access Tunnel and the rehabilitation of Detroit’s Lodge M-10 Freeway also helped strengthen King’s reputation as an industry leader.

New Technical Service Representative for Mining Markets

King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Peña Cruz to the position of Technical Representative, Mining Markets. Julian will be working from our sales office in Boisbriand and will be responsible for the further development of our mining business in the markets served by our new Boisbriand production facility.

Julian joined King Packaged Materials Company in May, 2013 as a laboratory technician and worked previously as student in our Blainville location. He completed his degree in Construction Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal and is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
